Production Process
Texber's production process adapts to the needs of the customer for each individual project.
Thus, when a customer contacts us to develop a new product, the first thing we do is to prepare a sample according to their instructions, we weave it and iron it before running our quality-control process. Once the customer has received our sample, they evaluate it. If they detect any problems with the weaving, we modify the product until the customer approves our sample and the product is feasible from a technical point of view.
Bulk production can then begin: the customer places an order, we order the necessary yarn, warp the beams, weave the product, pass it through quality control and transport the final product to the destination requested by the customer.
Machinery
Texber's philosophy focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction. This is the reason why we work to constantly upgrade the machines in our facilities, and also why we search for new tools that allow us to guarantee speed, efficiency and maximum quality for our customers.
Warp Section:
We have a Comsa Ausa 1000 warper, equipped with automatic feed detection and a reversible creel with 672 positions. This warper allows us to weave pieces with a width of up to 300 centimetres and to fill beams with collars of up to 1100 millimetres.
Weaving section:
We work with Picanol loom models GTM-A and Gamma to make fabrics of a maximum width of 1.9 metres. Some have the option of weaving letters into the edges of the material and allow us to offer stitched edges or resistance- or scissor-cut edges.
We also have Picanol Gama and Gammax looms for producing fabrics up to 2.2 meters wide. Some of these looms have the option of weaving letters into the edges of the material and allow for the options of stitched, burnt or cut edges.
We also have Picanol Gammax looms, for pieces of up to 3.4 metres wide and Dornier looms for pieces of up to 2.6 metres wide. The latter loom has the option of weaving letters onto the edges of the pieces.
Furthermore, it is worth noting that all of looms at Texber's warehouse in La Plana d'Avià are equipped with batching units which allow us to produce thick rolls.
Quality
Texber works according to one basic premise: a job well done. We are confident of being able to do a good job thanks to the expertise and knowledge of our employees.
We adapt to the instructions and demands of our customers, carrying out periodic checks during the warping and weaving processes, and every piece we make goes through a rigorous quality-control process.
